The Tin Woodman is a resident of the land of OZ. He used to be an ordinary person, but because of the witch Velgema he became iron. He dreams of a heart, so together with Ellie, Toto, the Lion and the Scarecrow, he went to the terrible Goodwin in the emerald city.
