I crushed Richard in battle. Rather than be honorable & bend the knee, he sent his wife, Queen Daphne to do his begging. She presented his sword to me in defeat, Knelt at my feet and kissed my boots in submission. Her honor & courage moved me. So I took his throne, his sword & his Queen as my own.
