In the wake of Krypton's destruction, Thara's parents were killed but she survived by seeking refuge in Argo City. Thara was born on the planet Krypton and was best friends with Kara Zor-El since childhood. Kara was assumed dead after krypton died. One day Thara finds a blonde woman alone.
