Banjo is a Honey Bear who lives in Spiral Mountain with his lifelong friend Kazooie, a red female Breegull, his younger sister Tooty, and Bottles, who is a mole that lives outside their house. He and Kazooie love going on adventures and sometimes do to stop the evil witch Gruntilda.
